The surgery takes place at a medical office building and clinic, it is a four story building with  many doctors from every specialty area you can think of.  It is here that Dr. Sauceda's office is located.  On the 3rd floor is the surgical clinic with operating room, recovery area and around 4 patient rooms for over night stays.  It is a nice, new, modern building, it did not bother me at all that is was not the size of an American hospital.  What I wanted was CLEAN..and it is.  State of the art medical equipment, which it has, and quality care, which is provided...the doctors, nurses and staff were all wonderful.

I was in surgery for about 12 hours so my husband got quite comfortable in the reception/waiting area.  He had a laptop with him and sat near the power outlet and watched DVD movies most of the day.  The clinic is about a 3 minute walk to a McDonald's and then another 2 minute walk to a mall area with a large HEB store (much like a Wal-Mart, groceries, etc..) a health club, and several restaurants, including an Applebees!  Also next to the McDonalds is the Hampton Inn...we did not stay there (we were at the Howard Johnson MacroPlaza)./  The Hampton looked really nice, and so convenient to everything you would need.  If we did anything over, it would be to make our hotel reservations there....the Howard Johnson was just fine...just not close and we had to use cabs a few times, Dr. Sauceda was kind enough to come check on me each day I was there at the hotel.
